Dr. Claudia Major

Dr. Claudia Major is a leading German expert on security and defense policy and serves as Senior Vice President for Transatlantic Security at the German Marshall Fund of the United States. Previously, she headed the International Security Division at the German Institute for International and Security Affairs (SWP) in Berlin. Her work focuses on European security, NATO, transatlantic relations, and the implications of Russia’s war against Ukraine for Europe’s security architecture and international order.
